Driving on 95 everyday, this building is going to look great in its location. The amount fo cranes and over additions on each side of the highway in this area is huge.

It's crazy to think about what this neighborhood has become from 25 years ago, with all the clubs and bars in the area to now.

This is such a major structure for this area it's impossible to overstate. Can y'all imagine if the entirety of 2nd filled in with similar scale? The two endpoints are under construction. The rest is gravy.

That area is going NUTS.

This is so much more imposing IRL than these pictures convey. Visually, it pulls the whole of Center City northward to Northern Liberties and makes the entire area feels seemless.

On another note, I went to the farmers market at the new Piazza last weekend and holy cow is the new Piazza high end. Like HIGH. END. Most of the people walking around were very put together and professional looking. Nearly every vendor at the market was sold out (great sign) and for the first time I noticed there is an entire contiguous block of retail in the inner buildings both along Germantown and the interior courtyard that will be game changing as it starts to lease up. It's hard to see it in situ and not believe it won't be some of the high end retailers and service providers we've discussed who are theoretically due for a second Philly location (Soul Cycle, Barrys, etc).

It's a very exciting time to live in this part of the city.

It's come a long way since the Blat/Kushner days but I do miss watching big events on the large TV.

I just hope they get the 2nd St Streescape upgrade done soon (or whatever its called)

The pyramid shaped structural beam work on the northwest corner is actually my favorite aspect of this building in person so far, rather than the curved wall. Those beams are very very cool.

I mean... the whole building is absolutely stunning. From the scale to the shape to the details. What a winner.

This thing has a serious presence from the Spring Garden El station. I'll try to grab a picture from there once the cladding starts to go up.

Caught a glimpse of this from the El yesterday. Saw a row of glass has been installed, and a banner calling this "The Noble"

Yeah steel structures just fly up - I’m always confused/interested in the economics between incredibly slow moving concrete structures vs. incredibly fast moving steel ones. I assume the cost of raw materials for concrete is dramatically cheaper than custom built steel, but isn’t that cost effectiveness negated since you’re paying your structural laborers waayyy more day rates?

Walking back from Pizza Beddia last night with my lady. This thing is absolutely MASSIVE from that angle.

It's nuts.
