We can’t wait to meet you!

Sincerely,

Beric Wessely

Unconventional view from a thrill-seeker on instagram.
Won't link the video because I don't really want to give the guy more views, though obviously he's easy enough to find by username.
But it is a really cool perspective I wanted to share.

EDIT: Best guess based on construction progress + sunrise is that it's from Saturday, September 23.

The market is generally not seeing bathtubs in rentals. Most people who don't have little kids don't want them and rental units, especially one bedrooms and often in 2 and 3 bedrooms don't typically put aside the space for a freestanding tub to keep the bathroom sizes in check.

Each level has two balconies, so even on the top level there will be some of the larger units that do not have one. But for people who do, there will be those two units on each floor. They happened to pick one of the floor plans without a balcony.

That first image really is a dramatic display of this building's unique presence.

Oh wow. That lobby is pretty impressive. More like an office building.

I am very impressed by so much of this building, but what is to be made of that awful Wabash Ave garage brutality?

As it is - it seems unbelievably bad - to the point of looking schizophrenic.

Are there any images of how it will be remedied?

Is that to blend in with the raw concrete on the south end of the building? Or is that fireproofing as well?

They may be keeping it blank for a wall mural?

Not to worry. The garage will eventually be obscured by whatever gets built on the Wabash facing site in front of it. However I'm still concerned about the blank south-facing sheer partition wall. The diagonal front supports have been clad but that wall is still alarmingly unfinished concrete.

REJournals is reporting the start of pre-leasing at 1000M:

https://rejournals.com/time-equities...-sttory-1000m/

And it looks like there are some additional rendering on the 1000M site, too, such as the fitness center, lobby, porte cochere, indoor pool, basketball court, etc. I don't recall seeing those posted on here:

I may be wrong, but I believe 805 was the structural height and 832 was the architectural height.

^ I think it got a height cut from 832' to 805'

Maybe it'll inspire the developers on the site of what was to be NEMA II to build taller. This cluster needs a signature tower.
