Is anyone able to find out if the former A&W food court spot at the Southland Mall had been taken by “Prairie Massage College”. Not sure what Strathallen is trying to do this the food court if this is true.

The space number is incorrect. Prairie Massage is in Space 161-163, which is the old Hallmark store, and possibly another neighbouring unit. It's next to GameStop (Space 160)

Hey Draftsman!

Would the college somehow be doing massages in the food court (as well as having their larger former Hallmark spot)?! Odd that Strathallen would update their leasing maps like this if not.

Hello one_brick_at_a_time!
It just seems too bizarre to have a massage in the food court.

Sample conversation:
Person 1: I'm going to have a massage at the Southland Mall.
Person 2: Where?
Person 1: In-between Manchu Wok and Taco Time
Me: 🤣

LUSH has apparently closed at the Cornwall Centre. This is awful news.

Is Southland Mall currently doing a better job at leasing?

Winners/Homesense coming to Aurora, per Forster-Harvard. I assume that means they are shutting down on Quance.

As more businesses move off Quance, there's going to be an empty zone. Sears Home is still empty. Hunters Furniture seems to be perpetually circling the drain. Winners/HS is another huge space.

Looks like some activity around the old Liquor Board on Quance. Anyone know what is moving in there?

This happens in all growing cities. Major retailers want to be in the newest areas. Mature households have much less spending.

There has been some backfill. Someone is redeveloping the old SLGA store. Someone bought the old Sears Home store from Hungerford. I forget who. Olympic Motors has opened in the former Costco.

Hillberg & Berk have moved into the Pandora spot in Cornwall. Pandora closed and shipped all remaining stock to Saskatoon as apparently they could not longer afford the rent. No closing sale.

Sherwood Co-Op just announced their not so secret Liquor Store location in the old I Love Sushi space in Rochdale Crossing will be open this spring.

There must have been a lot of work going on in the inside that I never noticed. Or, there isn't a lot of work to be done in there to have it ready for the new format.

Your post got me thinking. Co-op is opening a liquor store adjacent to their Parliament Avenue location (Harbour Landing) and now you are advising of a new location on Rochdale (which I was not aware of, so thanks!). Are they planning a third liquor store by the east (Quance Street) location? Perhaps the old Sears furniture store will be re-developed into a few smaller units (unlikely considering the size of the building and the stagnant economy), or perhaps across the road where Hunters Furniture was last located or, the former SLGA store on Quance Street?
