Is that a tennis court that’s going to be on the platform of Block 23?

Went to the Frys to shop today. Had a beer at the bar beforehand and ended up talking to a payroll manager. She said that this past Wednesday was the first day they had hit their daily sales projections. She also said volume of customers was much higher on weekdays, but sales per transaction were higher on weekends. Reflecting residents living in the area.

That does not surprise me. People aren't doing their big shopping trips there, it's mostly people getting lunch during the week or small things during the day.

The residential portion hasn't opened yet. That's going to make a big dent in sales when it opens and fills up.

I have been shopping there on Saturday afternoons. I noticed a drop off in activity starting a couple of weeks ago. The Fry's at 20th St/Highland is typically a zoo on the Saturday before Christmas. This was a nice alternative, although I'm beginning to see some shortcomings in what items they carry.

The Ryan is looking good! Sunset didn’t hurt the view either...

The building is almost hidden from a bunch of view points around downtown, but once you get up close it’s absolutely massive.

Cityscape built out

With the growing shortage of land downtown they might have to tear it down and start over.

Humor lol I think the chase parking garage and that ugly two story lot across from the garage will eventually be torn down and made useful. At least I hope. Even the SW corner of 1st and Monroe can be used for a decent mid rise..

Blanco build out is well underway. Should be done quickly.

Still a shame that this doesn't have more retail. In particular, the south east corner that is right across from Talking Stick appears just to be a resident entrance. A bar right there would kill it. It would be the closest bar to the entrance of TSRA.

With Hard Rock gone hopefully a better bar will go in that spot.

With Hard Rock gone, what are the chances they will renovate the exterior to go with the newer Adeline portion? It would be nice to see the older retail exterior updated.

I always imagined, Hard Rock taking over the upstairs portion above it. I think a two story bar would be awesome right there.

I’m sure another bar will go in there. Just would’ve been killer to have bars on both corners instead of an apartment lobby.

... also, you just gave me an idea. I think it’d be a killer location for a Cold Beers and Cheese Burgers and a Dave and Busters. Both would contribute to an entertainment vibe. Throw in a San Tan or Fate Brewing and that area would be absolutely amazing!
