With all those that contribute to this post and on other social media sites, this will be the most photographed construction site imaginable !!! Brooklyn's most iconic structure is now on the rise, Brooklyn's version of the Empire State building is getting closer to reality. This is not just mere hyperbole, this is historic, the tallest building outside of Manhattan located in the outer boroughs begins to ascend and with it goes into the history books of the borough and the city of New York !!!!

Considering how small the floor plates are it should go up quickly. They've narrowed Fleet Street again in preparation but can't completely close it because it has a City Point condo tower entrance. Thankfully the loading docks/garage entrance for City Point off Fleet create a large space for deliveries and thus they won't have to disrupt traffic on Flatbush too much - we all know how bad it is already on this stretch.
I get your point about the ESB, but I would call this our Chrysler instead, it's nearly the same height and has a similar elegant slimness. It's almost exact same height as 53w53 as well:
You can see the staging alcove where Fleet meets Flatbush on the map. Dekalb station has entrances north and south along Flatbush, and this building will use an already existing entrance which is temporarily shut down, but shown in the photo below.
