Here's an interesting question that I was pondering the other day that is related to this topic: what's the tallest interchange in the world? I was going through the interchange of the Middle Ring Road with Humin Elevated Road, which has got to be Shanghai's tallest - the peak of the interchange, which has the 8-lane Middle Ring Road at the very top, is at least 10 floors above the ground. Are there interchanges taller than that anywhere else?

You never leave. You just fill up at the adjacent dedicated service stations (gasoline + fast food garbage). Fill up both ways, piss and shit. Then back on the road. Repeat. It's great for the economy.

Sorry, but I have to claim responsibility for this mess, on behalf of Salt Lake City. It's actually the intersection of I-80 and I-15.

In our defense, though, if you look closely you can see a light rail line running from left to right, crossing under the freeways then over the rail yard. There's also the FrontRunner commuter rail line running parallel to the Union Pacific tracks. So yes, we've got sprawl here like crazy, but we're slowly recovering.

more like the type you'd find at "Pizza Pizza" (over/undercooked pasta covered with Ragu from a jar)

That is a beautiful interchange. I wish LA would take note with the antiquated interchanges along the 101 and I-5!
