Sears Tower in Paris, facing the Eiffel Tower (50th anniversary of the Chicago giant)

I actually wouldn't like this to happen at all, but to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Chicago colossus and as a mere curiosity, I believe it is interesting. Greetings to all.

The Sears Tower looks so freaking good in Chicago.....

....and so freaking terrible in Paris.

Still neat to see though, thanks 👍

Can you put it next to the World Trade Center in New York,

next to the Shanghai Tower, and

in the cluster of towers in Moscow?

For the Moscow thing, I have almost everything prepared, so as soon as I have some free time, I'll get to it. I already have the model of the Shanghai Tower as well, but it's still a bit rough; it will take longer, but it's also planned. And adding the Twin Towers to the current skyline of Manhattan is another thing I have pending, so three out of three.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but i did not mean next to the twin towers. i meant next to the new tower which replaced them.

No, I'm the one who misread it. It's clear you're referring to putting the Sears Tower next to the OWTC. And yes, I'll make sure to do that as well.

Some possibly cool places to see the Sears Tower just to see how it scales against them:

Shanghai
Tokyo
San Fransisco
Miami

By the way (and to avoid opening another thread about this), it seems that although oversized for the European scale, due to its classic style, the Empire State Building doesn't seem as out of place as the Sears Tower, don't you think?

It wouldn't look so oversized near a skyscraper cluster. But if you place it in an area with low-rise buildings, it's clear that it will have that effect.

In MIBC, it probably wouldn't even be noticed.

The SEARS Tower in Miami would look so cool and be a good fit!
The problem?
The Damn FAA would probably Chop 300 feet from the top of it !

The thing about Moscow is that it's in a league of its own...

Moscow has an amazing skyline, pretty rare outside of Asia / North America.

The angle makes the WTC look a lot smaller than it actually is though.

It would look great in Toronto. Just next to FCP.
