It should since this is the approved & released site plan version of it. Most renderings that get downgraded are early in the approval process. But it actually did get valued engineered in that a few floors were knocked of the final version.

What is the list when confined to only those already under construction?
17 of the 51 are officially underway. That doesn't count projects with Demo or site prep that are lacking confirmation like 98 Red River.

I hope so, but I've seen so many buildings that look better in renderings than in real life. Even when they are technically the same as the rendering.

Here's the latest rendering of the 802' Ritz-Carlton project. It's shorter twin tower is the U/C ~600' Travis tower. The supertall with site prep will be directly behind these two. They will make for a nice peak on the eastern edge of the skyline.

Well now. I like that. Some of the other talls so far have been kind of meh for me, but this is good. I like the sense of texture on the facade. It almost looks 3 dimensional with those south balconies.

I think I like it but it's kind of hard to tell what I'm looking at. It's not blue glass on the left part of the southern side of the taller tower, but a shadow? I don't understand the angle of the shadow here. It seems off.

I agree this seems mismatched and all over the place. But it's not bad!

I think what you're seeing is some shadow and also the darker portion appears darker because of the windows. There are fewer windows on the south side, and it appears lighter because of the light colored facade and the sun. I also just noticed that The Shore complements these pretty well with its color.

Rainey District 4 years from now:

The Northern half of the Rainey District. And only two of those have not yet broken ground.

Love how the city is transforming and can't wait to see what the city's skyline will metamorph(is that a word lol) into in coming years.

What north American city not named Chicago or NYC has had the kind of transformation that Austin is going through right now in such a short amount of time? Seattle? Miami?

Nashville is presently undergoing a mind-boggling skyline transformation.

Very true. However, Austin's height and total volume (both in high-rises and other citywide urban infill) are slightly more impressive - IMHO. Don't get me wrong. Nashville and Austin are in a league of there own with regard to the amount of development versus their size (population).
