I know I'm the raincloud on this topic. But having
no renderings screams bad vibes.
Since I left Utah, the state has gone from being "the best managed in the country" with lots of transparency and bipartisan cooperation, to one that I fear is about backroom deals and brazenly enriching the rich.
Demolishing to convention center should be a
public process with lots of meetings, alternatives, public comment, etc. Not something that will be
proclaimed to the public after the bulldozers are rolling. That's a bad way to build public stuff. Like 1960s Chicago bad. Especially when $1B of taxpayer money is on the table. (And a convention center!)
