If you go to Stathletes and look at the season comparison between this year and last, every single goaltending metric is way worse.
The only team defense stat that went pear shaped was odd man rushes against. The Flames are 4th best in expected goals against.
There were lots of problems with the team, but the number one reason the Flames missed the playoffs was goaltending.
