That is nice! Love seeing those curves and angles.

And we can see the Westboro and Carling skylines growing-up from this angle. In 5 years, we'll see a bunch of lineups of towers.

Looks like there is no activity for a while. Are they on strike or something?

From the Firm's Facebook/ Instagram page, another project they've completed in Terrebonne. I'm hopeful that this is the quality we can expect from this project. Would really like to see them treat the underside of the balconies, but still a good-looking building regardless, especially considering the area.

Hell, it's even good looking for some projects in the core.

Hope nothing is holding it for too long. We need a win.

Quite nice. Would be very happy with that.

This project has been delayed twice now due to owner’s financial issues.

"OK boys, how can we turn this thing into a Walmart, a Home Depot, Harvey's and Michaels, and hundreds of surface parking spots?"

Yeah, it was previously Group Selection + Smart Centres, Group Selection has gone under (https://www.pwc.com/ca/fr/services/insolvency-assignments/groupeselection.html)

I appreciate that that two towers are splayed out from each other.

I love that as well. Out of the box design (at least, for Ottawa). Gives them more room to breath and makes for a more visually interesting project. Too bad they went under (Group Selection, cause there's no way "Smart" Centres has anything to do with this design).

Site is still completely abandoned. I wonder who's going to pay the rental on the two tower cranes? That bill must be astronomical by now.

That was our thought when we drove by last week. What's weird is the company has come in to reclaim the cranes before they lose another construction season with them. The higher the bill the less likely they'll ever be paid.

My guess is they are sorting out liens and it's in the lawyers hands for now. Have been wondering the same about the Mihrazi project on Wellington and Island Park as there hasn't been any activity when I have driven by recently.

Not sure if anyone saw the Landscape Plan for this but it was one of the most detailed and impressive I've seen and would cost a small fortune to construct. Can't remember the name of the Landscape Architects but they were based out of Montreal. Annoying how many of the City's development application pages come with a 404 error.

Thanks for the welcome guys! This is a great board. Longtime lurker. Was more referring to the planting plan but that rendering does show the complexity of it. Going to be tough to pull it off, especially if they’re short on funds. Wonder if the landscape component has gone out for tender. Hoping for the best outcome here, have to feel for the consultants, contractor and subs who might get burned on this.
