That is the Watermark office building, developed by Tuscan development. I don't know what the tenant mix is. Here are all the photos I could find:

It has a great location overlooking the Sugar Creek greenway, but also looking at some ugly power lines. I wish those could be buried as part of the greenway project.

So what is going to happen with this old building if the museum is building a new one?

Great looking city. I've driven by on the Interstate but didn't have time to stop, hopefully I'll get to visit soon.

I thought the Mint Museum on Randolph Road was moving into the new building and the Mint Craft + Design Museum would remain in its present location?

No, it is the other way around. The current Tryon St. location is being given back to Bank of America.

Well done & thanks a lot for the captions. It's not easy for us out-of-towners to know what is what.

Back when I lived in "The Triangle", I once spent a night inside the Discovery Place Museum when I was in elementary school. B of A Tower has such a beautiful crown.

Really like the TOD around the LR stations. Phoenix could learn many lessons from Charlotte. The best photo thread of Charlotte for sure!

I asked him about the sandals, he says they became popular with the bike messengers because it allows their feet the breath. They are Shimano and have cleats on the bottoms to keep him clipped in.
