I mean, they’re basically just backwards strip malls. (See Homan/North Ave). The plaza on the corner of Ogden/Damen is a nice pedestrian gateway for hospital employees, and maybe makes outdoor seating feasible in warmer months. but they definitely still have plenty of surface parking, it’s just in back. Think of this like a suburban outlot development.
It’s unclear how the retail spaces will be laid out, but hopefully they maintain a rear (street-facing) entrance as well as an entrance by the parking.
