Not much heat here lately, but we’re close to the 20C mark and expected to surpass it most days in the forecast, so that could be worse.

Just finished cleaning the top of my gazebo for the third time because the silver maple is still dropping stuff. I thought it was finished, but then I noticed there are still pieces of buds or whatever it is attached to the leaves that are coming out.

Still puking snow here in the Valley. Great for Sunshine Ski Resort to get a few more days in and for wildfire risk.

Gorgeous sunny afternoon in St Jacobs/Elmira/Elora areas. Trilliums!

Sat by the Conestoga River for a few hours listening to various birds - gotta get that app

70F/21C.

I took the scenic route back to Toronto via Fergus, Forks of the Credit, rural Caledon and King Township. I noticed a few yards on (northern) Winston Churchill packed with parked graders and large earth moving equipment like dump trucks - either stockpiled for Hwy 413 construction or a sign of the real estate slowdown?

Made it up to 13C and mainly cloudy. Some sun especially towards the evening. It's another day of below normal temperatures. Getting sick of it. Time for some of what extreme Southern Ontario has been having.

Low of 9C this morning. Mild due to the cloud cover.

The warmspot was London, ON at 22.0C.

The warmest low was Toronto (Downtown), ON at 11.0C.

Our high yesterday was 13.8 and the low 5.4. Seasonal normal. With the winds being light and plenty of sunshine, yesterday was a very pleasant day to be out and about. Today's high is forecast to be 12 as cloud cover increases into late day showers extending into early tomorrow. We have a 19 in our forecast for next week...woot woot!... 'cause we too would like to enjoy some well above normal temps even if only for a day.

4C and drizzle in Moncton at 10 AM, only getting up to 6C with showers this afternoon.

Weekend looks pretty good though - highs in the vicinity of 19C both days.

Nothing to really report around here. Been seasonal the past few days, sunshine and a high of 20c today. Perfect patio weather.

Yesterday was a perfect May day; literally not a cloud in the sky, 20 degrees, slight wind. A bit cooler by the lake. Everybody was out and about taking advantage.

Today will be cooler with a potential storm rolling through later, looking at a high of 17, although it's already 16 at 11 AM. Still around seasonal for this time of year though.

Forecast looks to be above seasonal with a mix of sunny and rainy days.

With the rain over the past couple of days things are much cleaner and plants are really starting to bud out now. Cooler, maybe 10-15 uring the day and just above freezing at night but I'll take this over the +30 and dry last May and the subsequent fire smoke.

Looks like more rain starting next week - bring it on!

HAPPY FRIDAY, I guess.

Teensy bit of hope on the horizon, at least.

Beautiful day at Frontenac PP.

Am I really from Ontario if I don't post a Trillium?

Always lots of wildlife at Frontenac. In addition to this snake, saw 2 other kinds of snakes, a beaver, some turkeys, a deer, a groundhog, and lots of different birds.

These two photos are so incredibly beautiful that they look like they were generated by AI.

TownGuy can you tell us the exact coordinates of this fairytale forest?

A few Royal Newfoundland Constabulary horses in the park tonight. Officers showed the kids exactly where it was safe to pet them. Super cute.

This is the level of answer us SSPers provide Love it!

Reminds me of that comedian who said never ask a Newfoundlander for directions, but you'll never get JUST the fucking directions...
