I'm going to split hairs here....
I do not think the building is "twisted" as much as it gives that appearance as the northeast edge and the southwest edge both expand outward as the building rises.
The rest of the building is straight vertical. Two columns move outward while the majority are aligned vertically.
Because of the angle of the shot, the close-up photo of the upper portion appears more "twisted" than it is and the diagonal lines of the north and south exterior very
cleverly help make that possible.
I think of this building being like it is wearing a pair of feathers in its cap - a cap which has no real front or back.
I hope the building works as well as it is attention grabbing (in a very sleek way).
