Holy sh…t!!!

This looks beautiful.

Where did you find that?

I wonder if the facade is metal or stone? I hope that it's limestone.

43rd St is gorgeous, but for the Princeton Club, which is lame. Fortunately, it may be sold. I’d love to see a beautiful, new tower rise there.

That's great news about the Princeton Club. Most of the university club buildings, excepting the Harvard and Yale clubs, are pretty mediocre, and should be redeveloped, IMO.

And Harvard Club did have a modern addition built a few years back, while Yale Club is landmarked. The rest can go.

And, yeah, the renderings for 520 Fifth look amazing. Can't wait.

Like you, I'd welcome the demolition of the Princeton Club. I like the Yale Club though. IMO, it's a beautiful building that simply needs a steam cleaning.

Yeah, the full and colored renderings will better reveal the details. But it's already promising.

The facade reminds me slightly of 130 William....

Does it say that the facade will be concrete or granite? I can't really tell.

knowing KPF, it will probably be some kind of white framing. But yeah, influence from 130 William but also parallels to 1 Vanderbilt.

Not sure what the facade is, but it will be in close proximity to both KPF designed 1 Vanderbilt and 343 Madison Avenue, giving KPF 3 supertall towers in close proximity in Midtown. It will be very close in height to 343.

I also think it will fill in the "gap" between Vanderbilt and BOA nicely.

The observatory at the Summit will give us an excellent view of construction once this gets started.

This is going to be amazing.

I’d like to see a lot more development in this area, starting with this garbage.

And this hideous crap.

I haven't been there for a few weeks. Has equipment, etc. come onto the lot?

Very exciting. It feels like it's been awhile since a large, new project actually started.

We've had a few years now of big projects finishing up and new proposals, but no shovels in the ground.
