^ Outstanding pics and perspectives!

Thank you!

What a magnificent change getting that massive hole in the middle of downtown filled.

Wait a minute. I thought this tower had no chances of ever being built because the foundation took a while.

Absolutely stunning cladding and overall development. I am excited for this to be completed! Hopefully Detroit sees a building boom from this developments success.

Screen grab from a webcam on Belle Isle. Tower visible on the left right side of the image.

most of the 1st year of that period was spent demo'ing the old parking garage.

the first foundation caissons for the new project weren't sunk until october 2018, so "proper" construction has been going on for a little over 4 years now.

Actually they had two. It only went down to one after most of the drilling was finished.

Looks like it's moving nicely now, and is that cladding I see on the first floor?

Yes, the cladding is starting to go up on all sides. You can see the white terracotta.

I work right next to the site. One Campus Martius (OCM) is 15 floors, so it appears the tower core is in the 20 to 25 floor range as of January 14th, 2023.
