Looks like they are either starting on the residential section or the lounge area. Either way, those diagonal columns are sick.

And there are those dumpsters. What a horrible design flaw on the part of the Canopy architect(s) and "value engineers". The City of San Antonio should fine Hilton for that every week. I'm sure the precious tourists don't appreciate it, even if they don't say anything. It's a blight.

Those "dumpsters" kinda have a New York City "feel" to them, don't they?

Yeah. Lots of buildings in New York were built a long time ago, so they weren't designed for today's garbage pickup infrastructure. Apparently neither was this brand new building.

I believe those dumpsters are temporary as the hotel is waiting for their garbage compactor to arrive from overseas.

Rhode Partners Renderings

Some additional renders I hadn't seen before... figure it would be good to refresh. The finishes on this look very classy.

Is the building going to have a white facade with light colored glass or is that just the way they did the rendering? Overall I'm excited for this one.

Thanks for the updates, Txdev.

Looks like minimal elevator/core space.

From the SA Heron yesterday. Not sure if the picture was taken then but looks like 8 floors to go.

Currently Floodgate stands 9 levels high including the Riverwalk level below street level.
