^^100' Taller than Park Hyat (860') I believe. I just wish Salesforce was 100 feet taller than it's supposed to be!

Park Tower (Hyatt) is 820' roof / 844' spires.

So One Chicago, at 971', will be significantly taller than it.

If anyone living in city (on this forum) hasn't seen OC in person yet, treat yourself soon.

Looking west at Chicago and Michigan today, I immediately felt it's imposing presence. It is absolutely gorgeous and only halfway completed.

That Cirrus/Cascade development, that was one that really could of used the height, really because of the location IMO.

Lots of stellar stuff rising. Salesforce via the renderings looks great. Its in that aesthetic sweet spot near the river that really makes the base/pillars come to life. It just looks good period.

Agreed. I used to walk by this lot a lot on my way to work (and while leaving Streeters), and on a 22 bus recently, I was completely disoriented by it. Even though I've been following this project since it was proposed, I had no idea what I was looking at.

I will have to drop in for a quick shot next time I hike up that way - has been decades.

The view coming out of Streeter's - which has lost it's old dive bar feel - and prices.

Are those brackets on the north elevation of the podium? Might be getting texture on it after all.

As long as the DJ plays 90s bangers on Saturday nights, I'll always have a soft spot for that hole in the ground.

I think Streeter's is owned by the people who owned the shuttered Pippin's, so maybe they have all their eggs in one basket

Cool to see 450 LaSalle and 369 Grand also shoot up in the background. The slow-moving Bentham... not so much.

Is that big field next to northwestern aloud to be sold and have something built on it. Cause if it is they should put a tower like this up over there.

Do you mean Lake Shore Park? I certainly hope not. There is little park space in Streeterville as it is and Northwestern has a huge lot on which to build nearly anything they want on a parcel at Erie/Fairbanks. Some of which they actually carve out park/public space for as well. I find it irritating that with no obvious plans to develop the lot that they don't make it in a Byrant Park Esque meadow to host sports or at least make it a dog park or something. It just sits there as a fenced-off waste as of now.

I'd love to see a substantial green landbridge actually one day connect Lake Shore Park and the Lake Front path someday, perhaps as part of the North LSD redevelopment project.

To think this fucker is already so tall and yet just at the halfway mark is incredible.
