Trois Rivieres is looking really good in that set.
Montreal is sublime, as usual.

Nice Cherbrouque photo tour. Any buildings owned by Lio?

Sherbrooke is a city that I haven't seen much of here through the years... it's fascinating to get a look. The sheer number of stately and imposing older buildings speaks to a city that would have been very important and prosperous in its early years.

She is the Queen city of the Eastern Townships (despite there being a Victoriaville, which was once known as the hockey stick capital of the world)

Gorgeous Quebec pictures. Love Sherbrooke’s treatment of the pedestrian block of that main drag - Quebec often does well adding a little flourish of beauty to things.

^ Nice pics. What is the story behind the third last photo? I don't remember ever seeing that building before on past trips to Vancouver.

It's the old Dunsmuir Hotel at 500 Dunsmuir Street in downtown Vancouver. It's just across Richards Street from Holy Rosary Cathedral.

It's been boarded up for a few years now awaiting restoration when the rest of the block (the Bay parkade) eventually gets redeveloped.

Thanks. It's interesting to see it sitting in that state given that the land must be worth an absolute fortune. It will be nice to see the building get its shine back once work gets underway.

I can’t be the only one but the textures and forms of the buildings in this photo along with the slight haze in coloring from the smoke make this look like a picture from 1980s New York.

That’s the Sinclair Centre, definitely one of Vancouver’s best gems.
