Photo Contest #75 - history [voting]

1 Past and Perhaps Future Means of Transportation

2 Paradise Found

3 Survivor
The Francois Baby House from 1812 survived two invasions and a fire and still stands in downtown Windsor, ON surrounded on three sides by a hotel complex and community college.

4 A Tower Rising

5 untitled

6 The Nascent Age of the Skyscraper

7 untitled

8 The Old Mill

9 What's in a Name
Hamlet of Moreland. Apparently the rancher told the surveyors that what lay ahead was "more land." Moreland, SK was established in 1912. Federal Grain elevators are hard to find now, and the town is gone. All that remains is this elevator and there's no road into town anymore.

10 Abandoned

Judging by the lights and the jeans the lady in the back are wearing, I'd say yes.

The interlok paving stone is what I notice, but I could be hallucinating.

It's the Temple of Kom-Ombo in Aswan, Egypt. I took it two summer ago.

That was my vote by the way, but it was a good contest. Lots of good shots from everyone.
