At least if it works out financially, it proves Midtown is ready for projects of this scale. Maybe we'll get a better one next cycle.

Yeah, since the great recession we've transitioned from garage-separated structures (Skyhouses, AMLI Arts Center) and park-under 5-over-1s (Spectrum on Spring, the Hanover building at 10th/West Peachtree) to park-under mixed-use megablock structures (Midtown Union, The Hue Midtown as it's now called, the thing with Google--I can't keep up with the names).
This at least brings us into an entirely different form, where the mixed uses are stacked rather than side by side in a megablock.
