Let me guess, when we stop using fossil fuels, you will complain about how few oil and gas pipelines there will be compared to today.

I dare you to look at the actual schedules in 1978 (that year's seems to be split into 3 separate schedules) and not just the map and see what you think of the service actually provided. I really believe VIA was stretch too thin and did lots of things poorly and nothing well.
