People will be pissed when they hear this. I'm not surprised that Main & Main are no longer trying to develop this site.
I don't have a strong opinion either way, but I do wish that the design and material choices for the proposal were better. Otherwise, personally I like the idea of an L-shaped building around the gas station, but people will take issue with the choice between a taller building with the gas station or a shorter one without. Might as well make a "landmark" design here.
