You’re not totally incorrect, but to say Canadians are lazy is an over exaggeration. Remember who built this country to a high enough standard of living such that people don’t have to be forced into looking after their parents.
It’s popular in third world cultures for people to look after their parents, and it’s because they have little choice. In most cases they are actually getting worse care than they would from a seniors care facility in Canada.
