West end access to 401 or 402

With the numerous developments being planned for west end London (ie: West5, Warbler Woods, Kilworth). When does the City, Middlesex County and the Province revive a west end expressway linking to the 401 or 402? Middlesex county is 10 years away from widening Glendon Dr to 4 lanes thru to 402 and Mt Brydges. Is that going to be the only link in the west end? Do we not need a North-South link to the 402? For example Westdel Bourne or Woodhull?

Let's look into the future 25-75 years from now. Will we not need a major north south transportation route to run the EV vehicles on? Or will everything be autonomous flying drones by then?
