Minister Ted McMeekin Resigns Ahead of Shuffle
Ontario cabinet minister resigns ahead of shuffle to support premier’s aim for gender parity

Ted McMeekin, the minister of municipal affairs and housing, announced in a Facebook post Monday afternoon he will resign his place in cabinet as soon as a replacement is named but will stay on, at least for now, as the MPP for Ancaster-Dundas-Flamborough-Westdale.
