I had a class in there for a 4000 level course, but the prof got us switched into Lamoureux after one or two sessions. I guess we had to kick out a 1000 level class to get the room. So yeah, no one wants to be in the portable and it's stupid that they can't find (or make) room elsewhere.

The Cube hasn't been used for Computer Science for over a decade. The Science Faculty took over the space for their labs when computer science moved to the SITE building. The lab that was in the Cube is now located almost under the transitway.
I suspect the university might be inclined to do something along the lines of what they did with Vanier Hall. They could save the MacDonald building, tear down the cube and replace the cube with a sort of tower-ish addition to a renovated MacDonald Building....complete with the eyes.
