I was not aware of this fact, though it doesn't surprise me much.

Don't forget not just downsizing Baby Boomers, but younger people who want to live more centrally and live a more urban lifestyle than their parents. One day if I have money, I'd live in a condo if it meant living in a central location near entertainment, transit, jobs, other people. Already I note amongst my friends my age, most who grew up in Kitchissippi Ward like me, don't even have driver's licenses and have no intention of getting one because living here means we don't need them.
