A few Tokyo aerials

Thanks to TR-909+ on SSC for these nice overhead shots.

Mecca to virginal fanboys everywhere, Akihabara.

Hills, as we like to call it.

Iidabashi, just north of the Imperial Palace; you can see the Outer Moat in the top-left.

Kasumigaseki, home of the Japanese Government's massive bureaucracy.

The Marunouchi-Otemachi financial area, home of the the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

River City 21

Roppongi-Ichome and Toranomon

Looking west over Shinjuku towards Nakano and the endless suburbs that hug the Chuo Line.

The world's busiest train station, more people pass through Shinjuku in one day than pass through all of New York's subway stations combined.

Shiodome, with the famous Tsukiji Fish Market behind (look for the row of blue roofs and curved lowrises).

A mere few blocks from my apartment, Tokyo Dome is home to the Giants - the Yankees of Japanese baseball - and thus I only go there to watch the Hanshin Tigers when they come up from Osaka.

Finally, Tokyo Station and environs. My office is in one of the larger towers to the right of the tracks. For size reference, the towers under construction will each top off just under 700 feet.
