Not a city, but the Golden Horseshoe (which includes the GTA) is essentially the hockey capital of the world.
The fact that Toronto still ranks the top city while not even having a sniff of a cup in 59 years is pretty incredible. Hard to imagine how much more hockey ingrained it would be if Toronto had even half the amount of success Montreal or Edmonton had during that span.
