A flag at that height wouldn't even be a wise move because of how regularly it would have to be replaced by how strong southerly winds are at that height quite often in the spring where the bottom of the nocturnal low-level jet resides regularly over SAT.

But also, it would just look rather tacky giant flagpole where the finial at the top somehow slid down.
