It will be a long road for Atlanta to catch up to cities like that. Like centuries. Barring some unforeseen industrial/economic revolution occurring that benefits Atlanta in the same way the automobile did Detroit.

Maybe the big data revolution, which we seem to be beneficiaries of, though most people aren't a fan of the data centers.
