My only problem is the height isn't increasing FAR/density. Paris is more dense than NYC is, on the whole, though Manhattan is 50% more dense. I prefer density over height; would love both in the right locations.

It will be a long road for Atlanta to catch up to cities like that. Like centuries. Barring some unforeseen industrial/economic revolution occurring that benefits Atlanta in the same way the automobile did Detroit.
Maybe the big data revolution, which we seem to be beneficiaries of, though most people aren't a fan of the data centers.
