Is this expansion at 140 Bannatyne Ave going through or just another dream that fell through the cracks?

Here's where google maps says that postal code is, looks to be some pretty nice houses right now? Unless those postal codes on that site aren't usually accurate.

I think that report is a little misleading. They are looking for a consultant to review and propose changes to the Neighbourhood Planning for the area. There is no construction associated with this plan. Only a framework for future projects to follow. The $50 million attached to it is rather humorous.

Any rumblings on what's going to happen with the Zellers site downtown? The store liquidation sale starts on Boxing day.

Is that the area along the river that was involved with the land swap?

^^^ No, they are simply trying to redo the neighborhood plan for the area and need an outside consultant for the job.

in this release from the downtown biz it mentions there are three 20+ storey residential towers "underway". they mention d condo and glasshouse, but I wonder what the other one would be? Fortress?

they also mention 1700 downtown residential units being created. how many of these do we know about? half, maybe?

15 million sounds too cheap for a condo tower imo but 3 - 4 towers at center point would an amazing addition to the dt enviroment.. i can only imagine what longboat has planned for the mpi lots but itll prolly be massive in scale.
