A facility desparately needed in metro! Also heard it was the hold up on road development from Southlands which was cause of delay.

The funding is still wishy-washy. Wouldn't at all be surprised if it never comes to fruition.

I agree. I wasn't expecting much progress with the former government, let alone the new one.

The new restaurant that was reserved to open next to A&W in Galway has pulled out. The sit used to say "pending" now it's available for lease.

A sit down restaurant would do really well in this area, surprised there isn't one yet.

Development seems to have slowed to a crawl. Originally there were talks of East Side Mario's opening/moving there.

Will be interesting to see if Restaurants Unlimited lose interest in ESM now that they have Olive Garden for Canada.

I noticed this when I last looked at the site plan. This was supposed to be McDonald's.

The site by Starbucks and Five Guys is still showing leased. I heard that was a sit-down restaurant. There's a nice view from that spot. If something does actually open there, they should put the kitchen on the front with the dining room on back.
