I hear ya but I, again, think it depends on a local perspective. I'm not from Boise but I imagine people from there would say their U.S. Bank Building was a "skyscraper." The Chase Tower in Lima (Ohio) is locally known as their "only skyscraper" and it's less than 200 feet. Put it in Manhattan and it's a Z-lister in the Flatiron District but in Lima? The fucking Empire State Building of Phyllis Dillerland.

Does that mean they are right or wrong if it's a "true skyscraper?" That all depends on personal perspective in which none of us will agree. This thread alone can't even tell you what a true skyscraper is (100m, 150m, 2 for $20 at Applebee's, who knows).
