Was up on Mount Carson Ave yesterday. They now have a coming soon sign for the new Island Furniture store posted there on site just west of the new Irving. They are al also laying foundation footings for it too.

Also…at the end of Great Southern Drive next to the Orange Store/DQ/Little Caesars, they have recently cleared a very large area of trees for the next phase of construction of homes in that area. It’s slowly inching closer to the Galway area too. Pretty sure Great Southern Drive will eventually intersect with Southlands Blouevard by way of a roundabout.

I was in there yesterday (Monday). 3 pieces heavy equipment and several excavations now. Culvert lining the road waiting for installation.
Finally something happening!

Hopefully it's planned for use on Southlands Blvd, and not the Cheeseman/Great Southern Dr. connection point.

The Glacier in the city of Mount Pearl is being rebranded with a new name. It’s now gonna be called The Capital Ford Glacier. The Howard Group has purchased the naming rights for 10 years as part of the sponsorship.

They got part of the front entrance removed and are doing work on the inside of the former Walmart on Topsail Road.
