When I heard that number I thought it was out to lunch too so I checked out the new Victoria General replacement in Halifax and the number floated is $7.4B... for a 30 year P3 arrangement. Perhaps that's where the $10B comes from, not just construction but a 30 year operating arrangement.

As per article "Specific projects include.... the design work for traffic lights at the intersection of Military Road and Bonaventure Avenue by the Basilica."

Wouldn't a 3 Way Stop be sufficient here?

I guess you could really say that for any intersection?

I'm guessing it is dependent on traffic volumes to determine whether lights are warranted or not, and this intersection does get a lot of volume.

Downtown Infrastructure

Telegram article on St. John's water & sewer upgrades. I saw something about this perhaps a week ago and was wondering if there'd be any disruptions to traffic... should be minimal.

I was wondering who now owned that group of buildings and real estate on Water Sreet that they want to tear down now that Vic Lawlor went into receivership. None other than the Howard Group which owns the Capital Auto Group. They also purchased the old Royal Trust/fortis building too. Interesting.
