How many more buildings look just like this?
Just encountered a building in Edmonton on Google street view and it immediately brought to mind 2 others:

The New York State Museum in Albany strongly resembles Boston's City Hall.

Unfortunately I have never actually seen it with the water feature, only an empty/dry concrete plaza.

I was thinking more in terms of upside-down pyramids but I guess those are close enough.

I thought I would throw this one out there...

Construction started in 1971 and it was completed in 1974. The building is for sale and already has apartment developers circling it like birds-of-prey. It also cantilevers over the sidewalk on the other side. Sorry if it's not what you're looking for.

If you're looking for something more "pyramid-like" in style, with that look on all sides, the University of California San Diego has this great example:

From San Diego,
The Geisel Library broke ground in 1968 and was completed in 1970.
