What? Were lanes reduced on arterials in Burnaby? Nothing recently in Vancouver.

Building a high rise at Alberni & Bidwell makes perfect sense though right next to the CBD. I walk the seawall to the office every day. It's great!

Was bummed on their site plan drawings they didn't show typically what would be City property upgrades that they'll be forced to make but I'm hoping for some decent changes for that intersection. That's a "bike lane" that needs to be re-worked or removed.

This was approved last night. Councillor Hardwick was the lone vote against, which means yes, even Swanson voted in favour.

Shocker, that's as unanimous as proposals come on this council.

Actually, Councillor Swanson has had a pretty consistent track record of voting to approve non-displacement, luxury strata housing applications. The rational being that they come with huge Community Amenity Contributions that can be used to fund non-market housing.

What happened to the podium?
There seem to be ugly townhouses where an integrated podium was once planned?

Yup, I guess to cut down the scale from Bidwell and match the houses across the lane.
