Now working on exterior brick on east side of buildings. Lots of interior work going on with drywall and cabinet installations.

Good progress on exterior brick work. Should be wrapping that up within the next 2 weeks.

Sidewalk has now been poured along Richmond St fronting the buildings.

Paved the driveway and parking lot now. Landscaping work starting. Still looks like interior finishing work is underway. First tenants are likely by Oct.

They started installing the black stone trim on bottom floors. Must have been a delay for this because they now have to work around the landscaping and sod that was installed a couple of weeks ago. Oops!

Only now finishing the black stone installs. Final trim pieces left and this project is essentially done.

Looks like they are redoing the black stone exterior on the north building again. The stone has been removed along the ground floor fronting Richmond street. Expensive redo I suspect.

Interesting to see that they have still not fixed the black stone exterior installation on the buildings. Still showing large gaps between the stone slabs and exposed insulation. Wonder if this is now tied up in lawsuits or the developer has dropped the ball in getting this work properly done.

Another year has come and gone and the huge gaps in the black stone work showing exposed insulation is still not fixed. With that level of attention to detail I'd suspect there are many other quality problems with this rental building.

The developer website for this project. Aventus Developments

1635 Masonville Yards

The high demand for the Luxe lifestyle has been a strategic catalyst for a launch of a second building in the booming city of London. Situated directly across from the largest shopping mall, and just minutes from the downtown core and Western University, 1635 Richmond spans 7 stories and 392 suites. With its modern exterior and upgraded features and finishes, 1635 does not disappoint."

Made me laugh reading the description of this modern exterior. They still have huge gaps between the exterior stone slabs with visible spray foam. It's been a couple of years since these buildings were finished and they have not fixed the stonework yet?
