Not sure how I feel about Sydney and Seattle both claiming 'The Emerald City'. I checked the wiki on it, I guess both picked up the nickname in the 80s. I don't know which city deserves it more. Sydney's claim on the name refers to the Emerald City of Oz (Aus) and there are some literary and theatrical references too. Seattle allegedly took on the name because the city is very green, they also stole/borrowed, through the process of a contest, the nickname from Eugene which had been using it before Seattle. Anyway, great shots.
