Yep. There is a 4 months testing routine with 10.000 extras almost every day and dummy luggage.
2 old airports will be closed at the same evening, while all workers and airport equipment are transferred to the new one, BER, in one night. All test actions therefore are aimed to provide a smooth start for the next morning at a new single airport....
Several Berlin highways will be blocked at that night to ensure free rides for the convoys.
