Over at 1640 East Sunrise Boulevard, the construction of the apartment community Elan 16Forty is underway, and slated for completion in late summer 2014. This bunch of mid-rise apartment buildings contains 261 units, with one, two, and three-bedroom floor plans ranging from 686 to 1,599-square-feet of living space.
The apartment will have nine to eleven foot ceilings, large balconies and custom interior finishes such as European cabinetry, granite countertops with under-mount sinks, pendant lighting, bamboo flooring in living areas, and carpeting in the bedrooms.
