LOL! a new poll released yesterday found that bailey has a net favorability rating of
-53 points in cook county, where ~40% of the state's voters live.
statewide, bailey is a
-23 underwater in terms of favorability.
i'm sure repeatedly and unashamedly calling chicago a "hellhole" fires up his downstate redneck base, but my god is it ever an extremely stupid overall strategy to win Illinois.
Is he just so fucking stupid that he's completely unaware that he's not running in the GOP primary anymore?
yo darren, this is the big show now, you're supposed to be trying to woo voters everywhere in the state, 70% of whom live in chicagoland.
in any event, the poll unsurprisingly found that pritzker is a +18 over bailey (56% to 38%) with roughly 2 months to go.
