I found a couple of better pictures of the station in Wilmington.

I also remembered this 1980 aerial from
post #19874. I've added the arrow to mark the Wilmington station location.
Trucker told us that the diagonal route was a Red Car right-of-way. That probably explains the missing buildings from Avalon Boulevard.
Historic Aerials
Although none of the aerial views show an empty lot where the station was, I don't think it's the same building.
