In the next 10-20 years Related Midwest, Sterling Bay, Magellan, and CMK are going to dramatically change the Chicago skyline like we haven't seen in decades. Those four developers account for so many billions of dollars of development it probably eclipses all others combined. What differentiates this boom from the last is the fact that all of the large scale projects are backed by established and competent development companies. They're not in the same league as the likes of Shelbourne or Teng. It looks like this boom is only just beginning and 2017 is going to be one hell of a year.
