La Gloria will soon extend to the Southside. The San Antonio chain of Mexican street food restaurants by lauded Chef Johnny Hernandez is adding a restaurant at Brooks. Though an opening date has not been set, Hernandez says online that the third La Gloria is opening "soon."
Hernandez was hesitant about a giving a hard date, telling MySA the opening is still a "moving target," but shared multiple sets of photos showing the interior of the building on Facebook. In his latest post, the chef-owner says La Gloria at Brooks is opening "soon" and the restaurant is hiring.
