São Paulo has the largest stock exchange outside the US in the Americas, and Brazil holds the largest US dollar reserves in all the Americas, as well as being the main foreign creditor of US in all of the Americas ( including Canada and all of the Caribbeann islands). Internationally, Brazil is the fifth largest foreign creditor of US.

Also, cost of living in Brazil is on average 3 times lower than US.
