Actually it's an existing subway station whose north section was almost completely abandoned after the racetrack days. I haven't heard of MTA in the talks about renovating it,but seeing as the facility draws so many customers it should have been put into play.

If the LIRR deal is also put into play, that could mean a big plus in terms of passenger ridership. Another big plus for the MTA. It really does depend on what the city wants to do with Javits, however, and if they plan to tear it down, at least put something respectable up, in its place.
